The partners at Seed Factory Marketing in Atlanta enjoy a good benefit or celebratory party now and then. Last month our creative director was the emcee for Atlanta Humane Society’s Pet Parade fundraiser. With no practice, Mark stepped up and provided entertainment and a great run-of-show. The only downside was when a woman cornered him after the event for not taking the look-alike contest more seriously. Who knew people get up at 6am and doll themselves up for look alike contest? Especially ones put on by a non-profit that helps mutts.
Last night the agency partners found themselves at a benefit/celebration for Lifeline’s 10th anniversary. Lifeline is a great organization that provides low-cost spay and neutering for cats and dogs in Atlanta. After the live auction, the partners went home $1200 lighter, but proud to help animals in need.
A couple of months ago, we had the pleasure of attending Xcel Talent’s 5th anniversary party. Aras, the president, and the talent at Xcel are fantastic. We were trying to find a client to work with the talented Marquese Scott before his Pumped Up Kicks video went to 40+ million views. It’s too bad we didn’t already have a client on our roster that wanted to brand themselves through pop-culture, but we will. Marquese is well on his way to stardom as he’s been on the Ellen show and in a few big brand commercials lately. Bottom-line is, it was a great party and we can’t wait to get more clients that want to work with the folks at Xcel Talent. How do we work this flame twirling, furry-tail wearing dancer into a TV commercial? Believe us, we can do it with a strong client benefit wrapped in.
As much as we like attending parties, it’s about time we start throwing a few of our own. Look for the first Seed Factory party to be a benefit of some sort. We have a new space that is going to be amazing for parties and we’re thinking maybe mid-July might be a good time. Stay tuned.
