Challenge

Launch the Halo Collaboration Studio, a $1.2 M product targeted at large enterprise customers.

Approach

Offer exclusive hands-on preview of the HP Halo Collaboration studio to influential media from Asia Pacific, Europe and the US. Because of the nature of the product, the demo provided influencers with an opportunity to interact with journalists and executives across the globe. Media located in Palo Alto, California were able to interact with journalists in London. C-level executives participated from HP as well as customers from PepsiCo, Dreamworks, GE, P&G and AMD.

Results

• More than 100 influential media and analysts from London, Palo Alto and New York attended the global launch event of Halo.
• Received worldwide coverage and exposure from influential analysts, business media, broadcast and technology trades.
• The additional exposure and coverage had a direct impact on Halo product sales as well as a budget increase in PR funding for additional Halo activities and integrations.
